New Ritt Deitz CD, Pop, available as a free download.

Jon Hain - News

We are pretty excited about Ritt's new CD, Pop.

Ritt invited friends and family into the studio and recorded a disc that pops, funks and slinks through classic rock hooks and jams. Primarily known as a folk singer-songwriter in the vein of Willy Porter or Greg Brown, this album moves him solidly into the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen zone. Ritt Deitz - Madison

Jon Hain - Event

Ritt returns to the Hog after a brief hiatus. His fifth album, POP, is due out soon. It's more folk-rock than usual and, as usual, features several family members. Ritt will play songs from POP in addition to songs from his first four albums (Hillbilly, Stay, Pleasure Isle, Upstream) and some covers. He'll be joined by a guest or two.

Ritt Deitz CD Release Party for POP - June 17, Madison

Ritt Deitz - Event

Come hear Ritt Deitz play songs from his new CD, Pop. He'll be joined by many of the musicians (including his children) who play on the CD. This is a fine collection of songs that show a more rocking/pop side to Deitz's songwriting.
