4 shows Saturday!! 6.21 Make Music Madison 6.28 the Human Show (feat. Laurel True and Bagatelles), 8.15 ManiFest

Saturday June 21 is Make Music Madison, where there will be music all over the city performed by people of all stripes.

I’m happy (and slightly freaked, but more excited) to be play 4 different sets that day.

2-3pm at 304 North Hamilton Street (Church) - Ladysicssors!

Then travel with us if you can, to
4-5pm at Make Music on Manchester 2922 Manchester Rd for another Ladyscissors set! We plan to play some new music for you and do 2 pretty different sets, with mainly hits and requests overlapping.

5:45-7pm The Mothballs play at Lisa Link Peace Park 452 State St. This is my new band with Bucky Pope, Saul Glazer, Yohan Blitzer, and Madee Hartjes (but we’ll be Madee-less that day). Come check us out!

Then last but not least
8-9pm at Lipp’s Front Yard 4422 Vale Circle I play solo to close out the evening

The Human Show ep. 39: Art and Life or… Blast from the Past!
Featuring interview guest Laurel True, who created the original mosaics at Mother Fool’s, plus many many more around Madison and around the world.
I initially said Amelia Royko Maurer would be my music guest, but we're going to wait until November for that so she can finish up some new material. Exciting!

I'm going to do the Piano Recital segment myself, a set of Bagatelles. I recently released a new batch of Bagatelles (small piano pieces) on Only Human, and I'll also play my first Bagatelle and the first Bagatelles I ever heard of, and learned as a teenager, by Russian composer Alexander Tcherepnin.

August 15, 7-7:45pm I have the honor of opening the ManiFest music festival at The Vines in Sauk City. What a cool opportunity, with tons of great music getting lined up. Mark your calendars :)
