Stephanie Rearick - Mailing List

seems like time for an update

I've finished all my tracks for my new record (by Stephanie Rearick Jr.) and have decided to call it Dreamworld. And I've been working on the artwork and really enjoying it. Also adding some of it to my website
http://stephanierearick.com

Now for the mixing. Some won't need a whole lot, well, actually most if it won't. Jon Hain just turned in a mix of one of the songs that really surprised me, and that I really like. So it'll be cool... [read more]

Ritt Deitz live at Wild Hog in the Woods

Ritt Deitz - Event

Kentucky-raised, Uvulittle recording artist Ritt Deitz returns to the Hog for a solo show of songs from his six albums, with some unexpected covers and songs from a back-to-the-roots record he is working on for a 2014 release. Critics have compared Ritt to Greg Brown, Bruce Springsteen, and Calexico. More importantly, he might pull out a banjo for a few tunes at this show.

At The Wart Hog Museum

Jon Hain - Catalog

The 1993 album At The Warthog Museum was curated by Red Ned. The band had set out to do a live album, and indeed much of it was recorded direct to DAT at The Beat Kitchen and other venues. Some tracks were also done completely in studio (Sedistudio, Monster Disk), and the complete list of engineers and mixers included Spencer Sundell, James Koffee, Ricky Barnes, Jim Janick, John Hughes, Pink Bob, and Red Ned.

Ned put the sequence together and edited a number of Lefty Fizzle rants, used as links between many of the tunes. Bobby Ray... [read more]
