Earlier weather forecasts were friendlier, and I was hoping for a few phys distant outdoor audience members. Now it’s for the bold and brave who will be willing to dress warmly and bring umbrellas. I think some of the businesses have awnings but you can look at it online to see for yourself. You’re still very welcome if you’re happy to brave the elements. It’ll be good for you :)

Meanwhile, I hope you’re all faring as well as you possibly can be during our current circumstances. Tonight’s show will be a bit of a prayer for us all, after a fashion.

I play solo on their gorgeous piano. One of my very favorite pianos, and just tuned too.

I’m playing a set quite meaningful to me, considering I released my first solo album, The Long Picnic, on Sept 11 2001, and the meaning of that record shifted profoundly that day, and every record since has felt like a record of the times we’re going through. I look forward to putting it together with where we find ourselves today, and playing some piano about it.
