Side 5 is a reality...now!

hello again my pretties...

Side 5 drops today. ya know, now that I've reached the mini milestone of 5 sides (the first quarter of double LP #2!), the reality sets in that I'm really going to do this thing. no matter the circumstance, we can keep evolving...creating...loving...being. aspects of life stops, but life doesn't stop. vocations change and the human remains.
anyhoo. I hope you are getting something out of our little project together. if a tree falls in the woods and all that jazz.

I'll at least have a pretty interesting audio journal when this shelter is over.

about Side 5:

recorded 3/27/20
one big one with lots of twists and turns. i didn't divide this time becasue i found the changes more satisfying taken as a whole.
slightly different approach on this guy. after hanging downstairs kicking the kit around i decided to record a 15 min stretch of drumming to some imaginary music. after that,
instead of taking the long passes, i targeted sections to supply the imaginary music to the drumming.
also a fun fact, in honor of Side 5, large sections of this piece are actually in a 5 count! :)
