Disco and throwbacks! A family band jam

I'm doing a little tour for work in June and will play a show in Lansing, MI on June 14, details TBA.

My new solo recording is coming along nicely, being mixed by the fantastic Edward Reardon, now of Vienna Austria. It's titled every thing everything. I'm trying to track down the family of a German photographer, Traude B., if you happen to know anything about how to do such a thing...

And the band I play drums and sing in, Ladyscissors, also just laid tracks for an album! The working title is "Crackerjacked." We're very excited!

Next Ladyscissors show -- Crystal Corner (CD Release??? who knows?!?)
Sat. Oct. 18 with Little Red Wolf and Venus in Furs.

last but not least…
late April/early May I had the pleasure of being a composer/musician in the quick turnaround theater project 'Are We Delicious?'

I was one of 6 composer/musicians in the 'Sound Circle'. Each of us was paired with one writer/actor who wrote a short (5 min) play in 1 day, then we heard it, wrote music for that play in 1 day, and we all learned the music and accompanied the whole production. It was a really cool experience. The play I wrote for is called "Salty Demon" by Karen Moeller and you can see the first night's performance here http://tinyurl.com/salty-demon

What a great idea for a show! What a fun time!

Oh yeah, and my CD/digital download superdeal is still on! Get all 6 of my solo albums for $31. Help me pay to make every thing everything (and generally keep doing music… there's always equipment and gas to buy)
